Annual Seminar, AGM and Policy Forum followed by Drinks Reception and presentation of the AMiE awards

ACM Annual General Meeting and AMiE Policy Forum (2.15–3.15pm)

All members are hereby invited to attend (free of charge) ACM’s twenty-third Annual General Meeting, which will take place at 2.15pm on Wednesday 12 May before the Annual Seminar.

The AGM will incorporate the AMiE Policy Forum – an opportunity for members to propose, debate and agree policy matters. If you would like to submit a motion for discussion, please contact David Green on 01858 411540 or email him at davidgreen@acm.uk.com by 23 April 2010. Those attending will receive the agenda and papers in advance.

ACM/AMiE Annual Seminar (3.45–5.45pm)

Keynote speaker: John Stone, Chief Executive of the Learning and Skills Network, on Education in the future: reading the political runes. John has been close to the political action during the lead-up to the general election, discussing funding with ministers and shadow ministers; and prophesying the future for schools and colleges.

The other speaker will be: Piara Powar, Director of Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion campaign. Piara will discuss the work of Kick It Out, how it translates into other sectors, and how we can work together.

AMiE members: £25 + VAT
Non-members: £55 + VAT
