AMiE is the trade union for education managers. We aim to:

• achieve optimum pay and conditions of service for our members and ensure that their employment rights are protected
• develop and deliver a range of services which promote the professional development of our members
• influence policy at national level
• promote effective leadership through professionalism, teamwork and best practice
• advocate equality of opportunity and promote the needs of our members.

 

Who Can Join?

In colleges, any individual who has managerial responsibility for people or resources such as finance managers, estate managers, HR managers, marketing managers, MIS managers, contracts managers, and other business managers as well as those on the traditional management spine is eligible for AMiE membership. All managers are eligible from the most junior to the college principal.

In schools, anyone with a leadership role is eligible, including headteachers, deputy and assistant heads, together with senior business managers or bursars.
