Problems from your working days

We hope it will never happen, but what do you do if an issue from your working days comes back to haunt you? What if a complaint is made about you, a dispute arises, or you find you have a pensions problem?

If your retired membership has been continuous with your previous membership status, then we can provide full representation. You will receive all the benefits of our legal advice and representation service on any matter that arose during your time at work, so long as you moved immediately on to the retired members rate.

Keeping Up to Date

Want to know what is hgappening in the sector? Retried members receive all our publications, including the regular magazine ELM, direct to their home. 

Partcipating in the Union

Retired members have a voice on the AMiE council; and are encouraged to take an active interest in union matters. If you have something to say please contact us and we will forward your views to the retired members' council member.

Retired members can benefit from all the discounts and special offers available through ATL plus. 

How Much Does It Cost?

You can continue your AMiE membership at the special retired rate of just £30 per year. If you are already a member, contact the membership department at ATL by email membership@atl.org.uk  or telephone 020 7782 1602 to advise them of your retirment.
